It is a pleasure and honor to welcome to my blog a member of our club, T.C.Booth. Lets support her, share this page, and pick up a copy of her books. Congratulations on being selected as a Spotlight Author.
TC Booth is a teacher in the small Northeast Ohio town where she was born and raised. She lives with her husband, her four children (ages13-23), her dog Sammy, and two cats, Sheldon and Sasha.
TC Booth views books as the best form of entertainment and her favorite escape from life’s stresses. She prefers reading to watching movies and would rather write than do most anything else. When TC is not busy attending her children’s sporting events or running them from place to place, you’ll find her writing on her laptop, iPad, or maybe jotting ideas on one of her phone apps.

Character Interview: Featuring Chase from To Be Honest
Hello, I’m Clean Read’s author TC Booth. I’m excited to share with you an interview with Chase McFall, a seventeen year old boy who works his way into Starla Emerson’s heart from my new young adult novel, To Be Honest.
Where do you go to school and what is your favorite subject?
I’m a junior at Centerville High School in Indiana. My favorite subject is English because I sit with Star in that class. She rocks at figuring out the meaning behind the book quotes our teacher gives us. She’s smart and pretty.
What hobbies or interests do you have?
I compete in extreme sports. BMX competitions are my favorite. My brother is my biggest fan and coach. He has cerebral palsy so he can’t compete himself. I ride for him. He’s…

Amazon is in the process of suing 1,114 Fiverr users for offering to write fake product reviews for money. The publishing giant is hot on the scent of authors who used this type of service. That will result in many book reviews being pulled. Amazon is also cracking down heavily on the practice of review swapping amongst authors.
This is a positive happening for readers. I’m not alone in having skimmed through some stellar reviews, bought the book in question, began to read and found myself stunned at the formulaic, predictable writing, or plot holes, or lack of proofreading or all of the above. “I, Hero: Phases” (coming December 2015)
I received a e-book version of this book through a giveaway on LibraryThing from the author, and the following is my honest opinion.
To set the record straight I’ve been a Book Reviewer since last August and when I saw Ms. Abbott’s book being offered as a giveaway I decided to enter it basically to see if I’ve learning anything through my own experiences writing reviews. Surprise it to say I’ve not, which means the author has done a thorough job in presenting the information contained in this book.
I didn’t start being a Book Reviewer, I started as an author almost three years, and currently have two books written and self-published. I began reading/reviewing books as a way of increasing my writing knowledge with books I’d obtained through giveaways throughout the internet.
Ms. Abbott is correct is saying authors are always looking for reviewers of their books which is…
